Valerie June is having a moment. Yesterday, her song “Call Me A Fool,” featuring Stax legend Carla Thomas was nominated for Best American Roots Song at the upcoming 64th GRAMMY Awards, the first nomination of the celebrated singer-songwriter’s career. “Call Me A Fool” is the lead track from June’s highly acclaimed LP, The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions For Dreamers, (Fantasy) released in March of this year. Watch the official “Call Me A Fool” music video HERE. The Recording Academy will present the 2022 GRAMMY Awards on Mon, Jan. 31, on the CBS Television Network and stream live and on demand on Paramount+ from 8–11:30 p.m. ET / 5–8:30 p.m.
