Geez!-It’s been a very long time since I’ve shared new music with you.  I’m so happy to share this three-song suite as 2020 nears its end.  It’s kind of my way of sharing a little positivity after such a chaotic year.  There is a short few seconds of meditation music between the songs.  To begin diving into long meditation sessions can be daunting for many of us.  I’ve found that many times it only takes a few seconds of aligning with our breath to reset the energy of a tough time.  Okie dokie!!! Today, Valerie June returns with her first new music since her acclaimed 2017 album The Order Of Time. The new and original three-song suite, produced by Jack Splash (Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, John Legend) and Valerie June, unveils an ambitious leap forward.

From the yearning and mystical country-soul of “Stay” through to the dreamy, flute-abetted interlude “Stay Meditation,” and concluding with “You And I” — which fuses R&B and African rhythms into something restorative, danceable, and distinctly Valerie — these songs invite listeners into an immersive world painted in a rich sonic palette.
